Linear format formula using UnicodeMath and LaTeX in Word

Since academia widely uses LaTeX as a document editor for writing papers, many people still use Word to typeset papers, and Word has added the function of using LaTeX grammar to enter mathematical formulas, which enables Word to edit beautiful mathematical formulas. Here, use UnicodeMath to edit the formula in Word.

To insert a formula using the keyboard, press Alt+=, and then type the formula. It is control+= under Mac.
In addition, you can also use the keyboard to use keywords and mathematical automatic correction code combinations to create mathematical formulas.
Some complicated situations still require scope symbols. In UnicodeMath, the scope symbol is (). Use space to trigger the corresponding mathematical symbols during input.

Type formula in linear format

Linear format means that mathematical formulas are displayed on one line in the document. Word supports displaying mathematical formulas in two linear formats: Unicode math, LaTeX math
You can choose to create formulas in UnicodeMath or LaTeX format from the "Formula" tab in Word according to your preference.

Compared with all mathematical linear formats, UnicodeMath is the most similar to actual mathematical symbols and the most concise.
You can use the "Math AutoCorrect" code to quickly type most formulas in UnicodeMath format. For example, if you want to align the formula array, you can use @ and & to indicate a space and stimulate the effect, as shown below:
